I have dealt with United Access for the last 15 years. It has changed names over the years, BUT not the level of service. This is the only place that truly tries to understand the needs of the client and is creative in their solution. They did not try to sell me something I did not need, but rather listened to me and met and exceeded my expectations. Neil Marcus wrote "Disability is not a 'brave struggle' or 'courage in the face of adversity.' Disability is an art. It's an ingenious way to live." United Access does exactly this! I originally contacted them thinking I would have to alter my life, close my studio, or buy 2 vans. None of the options were acceptable. I was involved in an accident in 2005 that ultimately cost me my leg in 2006 and left me in a wheelchair in 2008. I worked fulltime, needed a van for transportation, had a studio which required me using the van for shows and I liked to camp. I wasn't sure how to do all of that in a single van and I couldn't afford, nor did I need a van conversion. This is what I love about this company. They did NOT try to put me in a one size fits all solution. They thought and created outside of the box. I explained all my needs/desires and they came up with a way to alter my mini van that would allow me to do everything in my van for a fraction of the price I thought I would have to pay. They removed the 2nd and 3rd row seats, built a light weight removable frame for the well in the back that I could use or leave open depending on what I was using the van for and they did it all in a few hours! I have since had 3 different vans and each time I bring it back and they modify it so it is fully functional for me.

I just got a wheelchair van for my brother and he is very tall in his wheelchair. I worked with Don Prescott to get the van and he walked me through every step made sure I got a van that would work for his height and kept in constant contact until I got what I needed. Exceptional service and every member I met was great and helpful. I would totally recommend the Everett branch. Just amazing

When you live in Bellingham and your husband's van's VMI ramp and the B&D 6 way driver seat completely stop working, who ya gonna call? Ability Center Everett, that's who. Chris, in the service department, responded calmly and sympathetically to our emergency. We got our van towed there. Chris and his mechanics diagnosed a bad wiring job for the seat and fix this problem + maintenance on it and the ramp and hand controls. Even better, they saved us some travel grief and delivered our van home to us. Customer service rules. Thank you, Ability Center.

We're very happy with our 2022 Honda conversion van. Don Prescott and Anthony Upchurch and the service folks were very helpful in finding just the right vehicle for us. Outstanding!

I have been a client with this company for over 20 years. I recommend them to anyone that is looking for wheelchair accessible vans or service on an existing wheelchair accessible van. They are friendly, professional, and experienced. Their exceptional knowledge of the industry has allowed me the independence that I desire. Not only do they sell vans but they have a number of accessories that make driving easier for physically limited drivers. They are a five-star company in my book.
